Mishmashers is currently searching for authors of Flash Fiction (stories greater than 500 words, but no greater than 1,500). We allow (and, in fact, encourage) multiple submissions and are perfectly fine with stories that have been published prior. We pay $5 per accepted story and will include the stories in issues of our Readers Digested magazine and eventually Issues. For more information, I direct you to the Submissions tab on Mishmashers.com. We aren't sticklers about the specific sub-genre you choose as we often go all over the map, but Readers Digested is largely a horror tailored brand. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Currently, our budget is set at $100 for Flash Fiction, meaning there are 25 potential submission opportunities. Rates will increase to scale with the size of the project. Thank you!
